Lettera di un fan

Sometimes the words I write come straight out of my heart.

I find myself almost 5000 miles away from Rome and at about 36000 feet above the sea and on the notes of “The Greatest Show” from the movie “The Greatest Showman”, I decided to write this letter.

This letter is for you guys who gifted me a living dream.

One of those dreams in which you realize they’re real only when they end.

First of all, I wanted to thank Giuseppe and Federico who never stopped supporting my collection.

Right after them, I wanted to thank the maker of this reality, the genie in the bottle who made my wish come true, Alan. Thank you, thank you and thank you again, you have no idea how happy you made me the day you sent me that email. I was speechless as I read through it.

“Dear Aosen,

We are pleased to inform you that Ubisoft would like to invite you to join us as a Star Player at E3 2018 in Las Angeles, California.”

You’re an incredibly fun guy and a great event planner.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you and the whole Star Player Guides Team.

Thanks to you I’ve had the chance to meet so many people from various Development teams and Community Devs as well. The memories of the events from Ubisoft’s Conference, E3 and Ubisoft’s Lounge will accompany me me forever.

Thanks to all of you who appreciated my collection, Gabe, Ismail and Alix.

A heartfelt ‘thank you’ to all the other Star Players I got to share this dream with and to the past Star Players as well. (Italsil92 and Andrea and Sara_07).

An enormous ‘Thank you’ goes to Mentor Sebastian. You’ve been a real companion in this great journey and I’ve had a ton of fun together with you. I’m sure there will be other opportunities to meet.

I particularly want to thank Sain Sain and Vincent. to me you were, and still are, two legends. To spend the nights with you talking about AC and Ubisoft was more than just fantastic. You gave me the chance to meet Odyssey’s development team, Mel, Jonathan, Scott and Marc and I’m so deeply grateful for this.

You two are so much fun and engaging and with a beer, a laugh, a cry and a hug you made my trip even more meaningful.

Know that you guys are the best and that I will miss you lots. THANK YOU for the great moments you spent together with us, I hope to see you soon again.

Last but not least, I want to thank you, UBISOFT,  for all you have done for us fans. You guys confirmed fans come first, for you.

A volte le parole che scrivo sono proprio quelle che provengono dal cuore.

Mi ritrovo a 7800 km da Roma a circa 11000 metri di altezza e mentre ascolto le note della canzone The Greatest Show del film The Greatest Showman decido di scrivere questa lettera.

Questa lettera è per voi ragazzi che mi avete regalato un sogno.  Un sogno di quelli che ti rendi conto che è reale solo quando purtroppo è finito.

Per prima cosa voglio ringraziare Giuseppe e Federico che per mia fortuna non hanno mai smesso di supportare la mia collezione. Subito dopo mi sento di ringraziare l’artefice, il realizzatore di questo sogno, Alan. Grazie, Grazie e ancora Grazie, non sai che felicità che mi hai donato quando mi hai spedito quella famosa Email. Rimasi senza parole mentre leggevo quelle parole.

“Caro Aosen sei stato selezionato come Star Player e invitato all’E3 di Los Angeles”.

Sei una persona simpaticissima e un organizzatore grandioso. Grazie di cuore a te e a tutto il  Team Star Player Guide.

Grazie a voi ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare tantissime persone dei vari Team di sviluppo e Community DEV. Rimarranno impressi nella mia mente gli eventi dell’Ubi Conference, dell’E3 e delle Ubi Lounge.

Grazie anche a tutti voi che avete apprezzato la mia collezione, in primis Gabe, Ismail e Alix

Grazie di cuore anche a tutti gli Starplayer con cui ho condiviso questo sogno ma anche a quelli passati ( Italsil92 e Andrea e Sara_07 ).

Un enorme Grazie va al Mentore Sebastian, sei stato un compagno di viaggio e d’avventura grandioso mi son davvero divertito insieme a te. Sono sicuro che ci sarà occasione di rivederci.

Ma le persone che ringrazio in modo particolare sono due: Sain Sain e Vincent. Per me eravate, e lo siete ancora delle leggende. Passare le serate insieme a voi a parlare di AC, di Ubisoft, e non solo è stato fantastico. Mi avete dato anche la possibilità di conoscere gli sviluppatori di Odissey, Mel, Jonathan, Scott e Marc e di questo ve ne sono grato. Siete due persone simpaticissime e coinvolgenti e che con una Birra, una risata, un pianto e un abbraccio avete reso il mio viaggio più bello. Sappiate che siete i migliori e che mi mancherete. GRAZIE per i momenti passati insieme a noi, spero di rivedervi presto.

Infine ringrazio te UBISOFT per tutto ciò che fai per noi fan. E ciò è la conerma che i fan sono al primo posto.
